Ahh! Great to be back and see that everything is just how I left it.
Piehands reached level 60 and I found some other, less exciting things to work on.

Also, I moved these diary entries to my main website and added 52 screenshots for illustrative purposes.

I love the fact that I discovered both of your websites separately and enjoyed them for different reasons. Then….Lo!….you were the same person!

  2. Wes says:

You never tried the expansions? The game itself is boring just leveling, you need to try out the end-game raiding–that’s when the real game starts.

Also, what’s with the grey/white gear?

  3. wowpiehands says:

Nope. I didn’t try the expansions. You are saying that the expansions have definite end goals to achieve?

I only participated in three raids during my ~16 months of playing time, and it wasn’t because I didn’t want to.

How do you get into a big raid?

  4. Grendelkahn says:

to get into a BIG group it helps to be part of a guild, kind of an official in game group of friends. The two types of big raids are either 10 or 25 person. Obviously it’s either to get ten folks together than 25. You don’t have to be in a guild to do this, but it sure helps to know the other peoples play styles before rushing in.

I also looked at your characters sheet, you have some items that do nothing for your character. The ring with Spirit and Spell Power does nothing. And if you start playing again you’d have to refill your talent trees as those have changed a ton since you stopped playing.

If you have any other questions I can answer them via e-mail if you’re so inclined.

The two expansions are highly recomended, especially the one that came out a few months ago.

You started playing shortly after I quit! Your diary is very interesting though, neat to look back on 😀
